What I want to make, when I want to make it.

The tag line for this blog comes from conversations I’ve had with my office mate and friend, Julie. While working, we often joke about starting a bakery in which we would sell only what we felt like baking that day.

This blog is sort of like that bakery. The essence of Today’s Menu is: cook whenever and whatever makes us happy. We will show how to make comfort foods, good food on a budget, homemade fast food, and, well, anything else that we happen to think to make.

This blog is a work in progress. We will tweak the layout but not the quality of our recipes. We hope you will stay with us as we grow.
